1. About Wallification

Wallification ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is a mobile application that allows users to photograph, upload, store, manage, and share their professional qualification certificates digitally.

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the App. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your login details with anyone else. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your account.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the Settings screen in the App. Once deleted, your data cannot be restored.

4. Intended use

Wallification is designed exclusively for storing and managing work, business, and vocational qualifications — for example, CSCS cards, working-at-height certificates, first-aid qualifications, and similar professional or trade credentials.

The App is not intended for storing personal identity documents such as passports, driving licences, identity cards, national insurance numbers, or any other sensitive personal data unrelated to professional qualifications. You must not upload such documents to the App.

We accept no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from the storage of personal identity documents, government-issued identification, or other sensitive data that falls outside the App's intended purpose. Any use of the App for such purposes is entirely at your own risk.

5. Acceptable use

The App is for personal and legitimate organisational use only. You agree not to:

• Upload fraudulent, falsified, or misleading qualification documents.
• Upload personal identity documents, government-issued identification, or sensitive personal data unrelated to professional qualifications.
• Use the App to misrepresent your qualifications or professional status.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its servers, or other users' data.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

6. Free tier and subscriptions

The App offers a free tier that allows you to store up to 5 qualifications. An annual subscription, available through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, unlocks unlimited qualification uploads and the ability to share qualifications.

Subscriptions are managed and billed by the respective app store. Pricing is displayed in your local currency at the point of purchase. Renewal, cancellation, and refund policies are governed by the terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable.

Deleting your Wallification account does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through the relevant app store.

7. Organisation plans

We offer organisation plans that allow companies to provide their employees with full access to the App. Employees must enter a valid organisation code during sign-up or through the Settings screen. Organisation codes are subject to usage limits and expiry dates set by the organisation. If an organisation code is no longer valid, users may continue to use the App on the free tier or subscribe individually.

8. AI-assisted data extraction

The App uses artificial intelligence (Google's Gemini Flash model, hosted within the European Union) to read and extract information from your qualification certificates. This processing is used solely to populate your qualification records and occurs within the EU.

AI extraction is provided on an "as is" basis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the extracted information will be error-free. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any extracted data before saving it.

Images of your certificates are sent to the AI service for processing only. They are not retained by the AI service after processing is complete. For full details on how your data is handled, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Daily upload limits

To prevent misuse, the number of qualifications that can be uploaded per day is limited to 25. This quota resets daily.

10. Cloud storage and data

Your qualification data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore), with all data stored within the European Union. Your data is accessible across devices when you sign in with your account credentials.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but we cannot guarantee absolute security. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from factors beyond our reasonable control.

11. Intellectual property

The App, its design, code, branding, and content are owned by Wallification and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

You retain ownership of the images and documents you upload to the App.

12. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Wallification is a storage and sharing tool for your qualifications. It does not verify, validate, or endorse the authenticity of any qualification you upload. Responsibility for the accuracy and validity of your qualifications rests with you.

The "Get Qualified" section of the App lists third-party training providers for your convenience. We do not endorse, verify, or accept responsibility for the services offered by these providers.

As set out in section 4, the App is intended solely for work, business, and vocational qualifications. We expressly disclaim all liability for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from the upload or storage of personal identity documents (such as passports, driving licences, identity cards, or national insurance numbers) or any other sensitive data that falls outside the App's intended purpose.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wallification shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App where practical.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
